IBU Foundation are partnering with Trocaire, a Ireland Donor to implement a Community Based Disaster Risk Reduction Program in Aceh Barat in 2 years, to implement the projects IBU
Foundation are currently seek candidate to fill position of:
(One) Senior Community Facilitator Community Based Disaster Risk Reduction (SCFCBDRR) – Based in Meulaboh, Aceh Barat. (IBUHR-TRODRR/ 2009/II).

General and Specific Requirement for above position are below:
- Detail Functions/Results:
- Supporting Project Officer and CF Facilitating Community Members by;
- providing technical assistance and technical advice
- providing technical assistance on leading the facilitation process of participative assessment and action plan.
- handling, in collaboration with the whole team member, the production and dissemination of media communication materials (posters, flyers, theatre, and movie).
- giving technical assistance to all activities done by the team as necessary
- building coaching, advocay and training modules together with Project Officer and Program Coordinator.
- providing evaluation of the project process in timely manner
- Regularly building the capacity of Community Facilitator (CF)
- providing coaching to build the capacity of CF in DRR issues as well as project management in timely manner
- providing feedback to CF in order to help CF develop their service to the community
- Training community members
- Train community members in disaster managements
- Train community members in project management, with support from project manager.
- Coordinating the effort with Project Officer and site manager
- Assisting Project Officer on building monthly report for Program Director that includes budget tracking, program indicators tracking and lessons learned
- Assisting project officer on building quarter report for the donor under Program Director supervision that includes budget tracking, program indicators tracking and lessons learned.
- Assisting project officer in building annual report for the donor under Program Director supervision that includes budget tracking, program indicators tracking and lessons learned.
- Assisting project officer on Establishing means of verification for the indicators and attach them in the report (monthly and quarterly)
- Assisting project officer on building special report for troubleshooting, problems occurred in the field and any other necessary situation deviated significantly from normal operation.
- Assisting and working in collaboration with the whole team on several functions of the project officer
- Supporting Project Officer and CF Facilitating Community Members by;
- General Requirement:
- Strata 1 or Diploma 3 on social study such as Psychology, Sociology, Development Economy, and Education and should also have GPA not less than 2.0 from reputable university
- Good Communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in spoken and written English, and also Bahasa Indonesia
- Result oriented, openness to change, remains calm and in control under pressure
- Respond positively on feedback and different point of view
- Independent and quick learner, hard-worker and a good team player
- Able to work under pressure and always put the integrity on the highest level

- Requirement
- Minimum 1-2 years working experience in social program either in emergency or development setting.
- Solid working experience in computer office application (MS Office and preferably open office)
- Strong working experience on humanitarian program and development setting
- Have working experience on community based Disaster Risk Reduction is preferred
- Have skills on community facilitation using participative methods
- Having presentation skills in Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Aceh
- Having skill on training and development for internal training, community members and government officials audience
- Having skills on participatory community development and assessment
- Having skill on budgeting management and writing report on the experience
- Having knowledge on GIS, MS Project application and MS Publisher is desirable
- Having knowledge on UU no.24/2007 isdesirable
