Sampoerna Foundation (SF)

Who We Are

Sampoerna Foundation (SF) is a professional philanthropy organization and a service provider for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) with a focus in education. SF has awarded more than 32,000 scholarships to students in good academic standing with demonstrated financial need at elementary through graduate school level.

Since 2005, SF has formulated school development programs that positively impact the lives of not only Indonesian students, but also teachers, principals, schools and the education system as a whole. To this date, SF has adopted 17 schools and 5 madrasahs in Sumatra, Java, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and Bali. In 2006, it launched the SF Teacher Institute (SFTI) and set up a student loan facility. In 2009, SF initiated an international standard boarding-school program, the Sampoerna Academy and the Sampoerna School of Education, a world class education institution to create Indonesia's new generation of teachers.

In the fourth quarter of 2007, SF received the ISO 9000 international certification for its quality management systems.
