Program Manager - PPMN

PPMN is an Indonesian non-profit organization established in 2006 to develop media professionalism and to extend access to information in Indonesia and other countries in Asia. It does so through capacity building programs, establishing new media in isolated locations, emergency assistance for media in disaster areas, media content production and book publication.

PPMN is seeking applications for a Program Manager (full time position) Based in Jakarta

The Program Manager will be responsible for managing PPMN grant programs, including drafting work plans and evaluation frameworks, preparing donor reports, and ensuring that programs are implemented to a high standard and in accordance with PPMN and donor policies and procedures and according to schedule.

The Program Manager will also represent PPMN at meetings with donors as well as public events and will also be responsible for close liaison with program partners.


While most of work will be conducted in the PPMN office in Jakarta, there will be travel for site visits during grant implementation.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in political science, international relations, law, international development or related subject; graduate degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in grants management and implementation
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and to manage priorities
  • High degree of adaptability to varied working environments and good interpersonal skills
  • Capacity to work independently and as a member of a team
  • High standard of personal and professional integrity
  • Fluent in English and Indonesian, written and spoken
  • Strong report writing skills
  • Sound knowledge of PC-based word processing and spreadsheet applications
  • Ability and willingness to travel
