Advocacy and Return & Reintegration Specialist - Save The Children

Currently Save the Children has an immediate need for experienced staff to be a part of our team.
  1. Advocacy Specialist (code: AS EXCEED) base in Jakarta
    T
    he incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing an effective communication and networking strategy to raise awareness about the importance of education and negative impact of exploitive child labor. S/he will provide technical assistance to build the capacity of project staff, governmental agencies at all levels, and local partners in order to foster sustainability of advocacy efforts.

    Requirements:
    • Minimum Bachelor's degree in social science or related field
    • Minimum 5 (five) years experience in related field
    • Good knowledge and ability to work with stakeholders.
    • Excellent facilitation and training skills.
    • Excellent report writing skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and work effectively in team situations.
    • Excellent PC/database skills and knowledge of current statistical packages.

  2. Return and Reintegration Specialist (code: RRS EXCEED) base in Jakarta
    Under the guidance and direct supervision of the Project Manager, the Return and Reintegration Specialist will provide technical support in the development and implementation of a return, reintegration and rehabilitation for child survivors from exploitative child labor: Child Domestic Workers, Children in Palm Oil Plantation and Girl Street Children in Indonesia.

    Requirements:
    • Minimum Bachelor's degree in social science or related field
    • Minimum 5 (five) years experience in related field
    • Good knowledge and ability to work with stakeholders.
    • Excellent facilitation and training skills.
    • Excellent report writing skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and work effectively in team situations.

General Requirements:
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
  • Computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office and SPSS are an advantage.
  • Commitment to Save the Children's mission and values.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and pleasant personality.
