Fiscal Desentralisation - Position Vacancy - Senior Advisor - GIZ DeCGG

The German “Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH” supports the Indonesian Government to implement the Decentralisation as Contribution to Good Governance Program. In order to enhance the programs capacity to provide expertise in the field of fiscal decentralisation, DeCGG needs to establish a pool of professional consultants for the following areas of expertise:

• Revenue policy (tax, charges and permits)
• Accounting system, especially accrual accounting and asset management
• Fiscal balance mechanisms
• Statistics and oeconometris 

Consultants shall be mobilised according to needs of the Program and in close collaboration with Government.GIZ DeCGG - Fiscal Desentralisation is urgently seeking a qualified Indonesian candidate for Senior Advisor, based in Jakarta, with fixed term contract with possibility of prolongation.

Required Entry Qualifications and Competencies:

• Post-graduate degree in a relevant discipline
• Aminimum of 5years of expertise in related working areas 
• Excellent communication skills and capabilities to facilitate processes across multiple sectors and stakeholders are essential 
• Excellent English and Indonesian language skills are required 
• German is an advantage
• Previous experience with international development organisations is an asset
• Familiarity with Government / Ministerial practices and processes in Indonesia is an advantage
